Safyr for Salesforce

Without a specialist tool for discovering and exploiting Salesforce metadata, there is a risk of reduced trust in data, delayed delivery of project benefits as well as cost overruns and loss of control in your own

You can use Safyr to work with the metadata in all your Force based Salesforce applications). These include Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force based applications from the Salesforce AppExchange or ones you have built yourself.

The result is that Safyr harvests the metadata, including your customizations, from these systems ensuring that you are working with up to date and relevant information.  This means that your your data engineers and data scientists have immediate access to the metadata for exploration, analysis, curation and exploitation.

They do not need to possess deep technical knowledge of the application, only the requirement to find the metadata that is needed for the use cases for your projects.

Applications built on the Force platform have some specific characteristics which make is a challenge to access and use it. For example, there are virtually no other tools which permit the use to access and curate the metadata before sharing it immediately with third party products or in industry standard formats.

Due to the flexibility of the Force platform, heavy and rapid customization is very common which means that it can be difficult to keep up with changes to the data model. It is also common for organisations to have many Force ‘Orgs’ (instances) which may reflect different business functions, geographic regions or regulatory environments, all of which can make the task of working with data more difficult.

Safyr helps you to overcome these challenges and gives your data engineers the tools they need to answer questions about the metadata and exploit it in your data intensive projects.

Definitions of what Salesforce calls Objects (effectively Tables), their Fields, Relationships and Picklists, are extracted, including custom tables and attributes.
